Equestrian Art ExhibitionOver 300 guests attended the preview evening of Emiles' Foundations' Art Exhibition "I found horses.." at the Mall Galleries last week. Guests were greeted by a full size galloping racehorse sculptured by Amy Goodman which stood outside on the Mall and was lit with changing lights causing passing tourists to take photos and the traffic on the Mall to slow down. The evening was a great success with over 50 paintings and 13 sculptures the Gallery looked amazing! A number of works were sold on the night with the highlight of the evening being the silent auction of TOTILAS painting by Sally Martin which had been signed by Edward Gal. Sold to an annomous buyer for a large sum this painting received much interest.. The Gallery then remained open for the rest of the week for the public to view and buy and unsold work can still be purchased and a gallery will be on our facebook page. We will also be providing links to Artists websites. Emile was delighted by the evening "We hope to have raised over £25,000 with donations still coming in including a donation given by HRH Camilla Parker Bowles! It certainly has raised the profile of the Foundations work and I am excited about what benefits will come from putting this on. I can't thank all the Artists enough for their work and our sponsors for all their support. Hopefully now we will be able to fund all new projects coming forward in 2011!"
